Current Openings
We are currently looking for passionate individuals in the following roles:
General Manager – USA (M/F)
Oil & Gas / Energy Sector
Houston, Texas, USA
Permanent Contract
Why Join Us?
Join 3X Engineering as we launch our US market expansion. As the founding General Manager, you will build our American operations from the ground up — a rare opportunity to combine entrepreneurial freedom with the backing of an international group with 35+ years of expertise in composite repair solutions, part of the Ekoscan Integrity Group.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup of 3X Engineering’s US operations: legal entity support, office, IT infrastructure and administrative processes, in close coordination with Monaco HQ.
• Act as the primary local point of contact between the US entity and Monaco’s legal, finance and HR teams.
• Manage the logistics and supply chain hub in Fulshear, TX (inbound shipments from Monaco, customs clearance, warehouse and inventory management, domestic distribution).
• Ensure full regulatory and EHS compliance (OSHA, hazardous materials handling, DOT shipping regulations) and support ABS/DNV/PRCI qualification processes.
• Support the US Business Developer from Day 1 and contribute to the commercial development of the US market (O&G, power plants, infrastructure repair).
• Track budgets, prepare local financial reporting and manage USD/EUR inter-company coordination.
• Execute the US expansion roadmap defined with Monaco HQ and report on milestones.
Candidate Profile:
• 7–15 years of professional experience, including at least 3–5 years in an operational management or country manager role in the USA.
• Proven track record of building and running a small business unit, subsidiary or startup operation, ideally from scratch.
• Strong background in US industrial logistics, supply chain, customs/import compliance and warehouse management.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, energy, industrial or composite/specialty materials sector strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with B2B commercial operations (orders, invoicing, collections, client relations) in a product distribution context.
Required Skills:
• Exceptional organisational rigour and autonomy; comfortable managing multiple workstreams in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Strong financial literacy: budgeting, P&L reporting, inter-company reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Culturally agile: able to navigate between US business culture and a French corporate environment.
• High integrity: this role carries significant autonomy over company funds, imports and regulatory compliance.
Working Conditions:
• Contract: Full-time, permanent · USD compensation package.
• Location: Houston, Texas (remote initially, office to be established).
• Travel: Frequent US client visits, plus 2–3 trips per year to Monaco HQ.
Compensation:
• Competitive USD package, commensurate with experience.
• Annual performance bonus linked to milestone achievement.
• Benefits: US health insurance (medical, dental, vision), full coverage of business travel and home office setup.
