How many layers of R1D must be installed?

The number of layers depends on several parameters (defect type, pipe diameter, wall thickness, design pressure, temperature, environment …).

3X ENGINEERING has developed its own software called REINFORCEKiT ENGINEERING ANALYSIS (R.E.A) to design the composite repair and define the number of layers and material requirements in accordance with existing international standards.

This is ONLY applicable in case of reinforcement application.

For protection application, 2 layers minimum are recommended.
